At Vero Insurance, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Fleet to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Insurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, sustainability, and profitability of our fleet insurance business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against budgeted KPIs, including renewal and new business metrics, GWP, and ITR.
  • Develop and execute product strategies in collaboration with distribution colleagues, focusing on customer retention and acquisition.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure adherence to agreed-upon product underwriting processes and strategies.
  • Facilitate multiline opportunities and identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Commercial experience in insurance, coupled with relevant qualifications.
  • Commercial fleet underwriting experience in insurance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio, underwriting, and pricing practices and policies.
  • Understanding of relevant insurance products, industry, market environment, reinsurance structures, and customer segments.
  • Ability to underwrite at an advanced level in accordance with risk appetite, delegated underwriting authority, underwriting guidelines, and business license.
