About the Role:

As a Senior Underwriter Fleet, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, sustainability, and profitability of our fleet insurance business. You will execute a high degree of technical expertise to establish and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against budgeted KPIs.
  • Develop and execute agreed product strategies.
  • Collaborate with distribution colleagues to grow and develop key intermediary relationships.
  • Facilitate multiline opportunities and simplify the underwriting process.
  • Coach and mentor underwriters to develop local underwriting capability.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience in insurance, coupled with relevant qualifications.
  • Commercial fleet underwriting experience in insurance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio, underwriting, and pricing practices and policies.
  • Understanding of relevant insurance products, industry, market environment, reinsurance structures, and customer segments.
  • Ability to underwrite at an advanced level in accordance with risk appetite, delegated underwriting authority, underwriting guidelines, and business license.
