System Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled System Planning Engineer to support the design, analysis and development of high voltage transmission systems that power millions of Australians.

  • This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our network, and you will play a key part in supporting Senior and Principal Engineers with network modelling, analysis and forecasting.
  • You will deliver clear technical reports, recommendations and stakeholder briefings that inform business decisions and drive project delivery.
  • A key aspect of this role is streamlining power system analysis processes and assessing new technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of industry best practice.

About You

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) and have experience in transmission system planning or power systems analysis.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills are essential for success in this role, as well as knowledge of the National Electricity Market and HV network operations.
