Job Title: Graduate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role will be accountable for delivery of design completion and defect artefacts in accordance with the practical completion's delivery programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or those looking to take their first step into the industry. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver technical projects on time and within budget.

About the Role
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for project works using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment and software.
  • Prepare technical documentation, carry out site inspections, markup drawings and backdraft as required.
  • Provide detailed designs, specifications and calculations in consultation with senior Engineers.
  • Reporting and progress tracking within relevant registers for meeting and communication to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide input into the necessary documentation applicable to Completions and Commissioning.
  • Manage technical queries, drawings registers and document control.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within Mining and Construction Industry.
  • Hold a BE and AD of Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of LV power system modelling and light modelling software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines with well-developed organisational skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
