Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Opportunity

\

This role is a key appointment for our team based at the Visy's Pulp and Paper Mill in Tumut. The position is offered on a permanent basis, with an even mix of days and nights.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for various electrical and instrumentation activities including HV, HA, Automation, Minor Projects, and Maintenance within the manufacturing plant.

\

  • Able to identify and resolve complex problems efficiently

    \

  • Experience working well in group problem-solving situations

    \

  • Industrial Electrical experience highly regarded but not essential

    \

  • Ability to live in or willing to relocate to the Tumut Region

    \

    • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech

      \

    • Certificate III in Instrumentation

      \

    • NSW Electrical License

      \

    • High-risk work License with WP Class

      \

    • Working at Heights

      \

    • Current CPR/LVR

      \

    • Unrestricted C Class Driver's License

      \

    • White Construction Card

      \

    • Confined Space preferred

      \

      • 50 years' history providing safe, rewarding employment in regional areas

        \

      • Experienced in industrial electrical and instrumentation installations and operational support services

        \

      • Involved in major projects including Tumut 3 Power Station Controls & Protection Upgrade and Murray 1 & 2 Unit Secondary Systems Upgrades

        \
