**Job Title:** Business Analyst - SAP Full Stack Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Sydney-based SAP team as a Full Stack Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full-stack SAP applications using SAPUI5, Node.js, JavaScript, and ABAP within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop full-stack SAP applications using SAPUI5, Node.js, JavaScript, and ABAP within the SAP BTP environment.
  • Build dynamic, responsive UIs using SAPUI5 Freestyle and Fiori Elements, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems through OData and RESTful services.
  • Develop robust back-end services using Node.js, ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and Core Data Services (CDS), optimising performance through ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
  • Ensure integration with external systems using BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite and SAP API Management for seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Adhere to clean core principles, developing side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, ensuring the SAP S/4HANA core system remains maintainable and upgradeable.
  • Implement CI/CD practices using tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, automating testing and deployment processes.
  • Ensure security and performance by implementing OAuth2, JWT, and encryption techniques, while optimising performance across both front-end and back-end.
  • Use SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for developing, debugging, and deploying applications efficiently within the SAP BTP environment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience ABAP experience in a key ERP, preferably SAP with experience in all WRICEF objects.
  • 8-10 years of experience in full stack development with expertise in SAP BTP, Node.js, SAPUI5 Freestyle, Fiori Elements, and ABAP RAP.
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
  • Industry qualification from SAP well regarded.
  • Understanding of SAP Modules like SD, MM, HR, FI etc.
  • Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for development and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, API Management, and Business Application Studio.
  • Familiarity with ABAP RAP, CDS, AMDP, and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
