Job Title: Resident Lifestyle Officer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other staff members to coordinate daily activities and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, family members, and facility staff to promote open communication and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Manage the planning and execution of special events, such as birthday celebrations and holiday functions, to enhance the overall resident experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with our organization's values and mission.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with older adults, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification, and possess relevant experience in aged care or a related field.
