Job Title

The Security and Use of Force Coordinator role is responsible for providing support to the Assistant Superintendent Security.

This includes evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on security technology as well as making recommendations on security issues to support Departmental goals related to procedural, physical, and dynamic security responsibilities.

Key objectives include ensuring reviews are conducted within allocated timeframes and that recommendations are identified and implemented accordingly.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in Security Management in a complex environment with key skills including Achieve Results; Exemplifies Personal Integrity and Self-Awareness; Communicates and Influences Effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and monitoring security technology
  • Reporting on security technology and making recommendations
  • Coordinating Centre's internal Use of Force review process
  • Ensuring reviews are conducted within allocated timeframes
  • Implementing recommendations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Security Management in a complex environment
