Job Summary:

About the Role:

The Coordinating Specialist is responsible for allocating resources in line with our procedures and scheduling interpreter shifts.

  • Following up on bookings and handling phone calls and email enquiries.
  • Providing prompt assistance and delivering operational support to ensure smooth delivery of interpreting services across all modalities.
Key Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with the medical language services profession.
  • Understanding of the role of the interpreter in a culturally and linguistically diverse patient healthcare encounter.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare procedures and processes.
