Mining Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced Development Supervisor to lead our development activities in a sub level caving mining environment.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire their team and ensure safe and productive work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development activities in a sub level caving mining environment.
- Guide crews to work safely and productively.
- Monitor headings, ground conditions, and ventilation.
- Liaise with technical services to turn mine plans into action.
- Allocate people and equipment to the right tasks.
- Run pre-start meetings, safety briefings, and shift handovers.
- Complete accurate shift reports, production data, and equipment records.
About You:
- Hold a Shift Supervisor Certificate (S1, S2, S3 or statutory equivalent).
- Have Current First Aid/CPR and a valid driver's licence.
- Bring previous experience in a supervisory position in an underground hard rock environment.
- Have strong knowledge of development practices, ground support, and mining equipment.
- Understand mining safety systems from risk management to isolation procedures.
