Simonds Catholic College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Leader to drive the development and integration of a cutting-edge STEM program. The successful candidate will oversee the Science and Technology faculties, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum, ensuring alignment with school goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Science and Technology faculties, promoting innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with the Science Gallery Melbourne to develop and integrate a cutting-edge STEM program, enhancing student learning outcomes.
- Recruit, develop, and support a team of educators to deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum, preparing students for the future.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the STEM program, making data-driven decisions to improve student outcomes.
Requirements
- Current VIT registration.
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching and high expectations of students.
- Ability to motivate students of all abilities to learn through innovative approaches to teaching.
- High-level skills in the use of technology in teaching and monitoring student learning and growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect positively with students and staff.
