Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Ministerial Officer on a fixed-term contract. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to ministerial offices, executive teams, and broader departmental functions.

As a Ministerial Officer, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with staff across the department and portfolio agencies. You will have the opportunity to build networks with key stakeholders and gain a comprehensive insight into the functions of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative and coordination support to ministerial offices and executive teams.
  • Liaise with staff across the department and portfolio agencies to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement and provide administrative support for meetings and events.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, presenting messages in a professional and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent administrative skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff across the department and portfolio agencies.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships by understanding the needs of colleagues and stakeholders.
  • High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
