About the Company

Ivory Group is a reputable organization that values excellence in environmental health and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

About the Position

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our team to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. You will participate in a business transformation model to achieve cultural change and drive service delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections at various locations to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations
  • Respond to inquiries and provide safety advice to stakeholders
  • Coordinate and issue Penalty Infringement Notices when necessary
  • Assess Development Applications (DAs) to ensure requirements of regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Natural Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent
  • Current Class C Driver's License
  • Experience in enforcement and/or litigation of environmental health legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance is preferred
