The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in oncology and palliative care, with strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities. They will be responsible for delivering evidence-based practice, facilitating effective communication across the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of policy and procedures.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer, inclusive of assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and healthcare providers to enhance patient care and support.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Consultant who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong clinical expertise in oncology and palliative care, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on achieving positive patient outcomes.
- Postgraduate qualifications in cancer nursing or a related field, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice.
- AHPRA Nursing Registration Division 1 and current Police Record Check.
