Oncology Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled oncology nurse to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in infusion treatments to develop their clinical knowledge and expertise.

This role will involve delivering comprehensive nursing care, assessing patients, implementing treatment plans, and evaluating outcomes. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, have strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care that respects patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Support high-quality outcomes in line with Cabrini's Mission and Values

The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, relevant nursing qualifications, and a Victorian Working with Children Check. They will also have minimum 2 years' experience in a similar clinical role, including infusion therapy, and proficiency in cannulation, PICC, and port access.

The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience in cytotoxic administration is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.

You will be an experienced registered nurse with a background in oncology and infusion treatments. You're eager to further develop your clinical knowledge and thrive in a team-focused setting.

You will also possess:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant nursing qualifications and a Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar clinical role, including infusion therapy
  • Proficiency in cannulation, PICC, and port access
  • Experience in cytotoxic administration (preferred) or a willingness to train
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach
  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
