Job Description

The role of Portable Service Technician is a key position within our organization, responsible for servicing, maintaining, and selling portable fire protection equipment.

As a Portable Service Technician, you will be working with clients across various locations, including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Northern NSW (Lismore). You will be required to service portable fire equipment on customer premises, recommend portable fire protection and safety systems, and audit client locations for compliance with specific Australian Standards.

You will also be responsible for identifying, repairing, and installing portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment, as well as completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using electronic maintenance records and specific industry documentation.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Portable Service fire protection equipment
  • A current (QLD) QBCC License, for Fire – Portables Class / Stream for Install and maintenance of Portable Equipment, is mandatory
