Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our industrial customers in VIC and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented schedules and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Cummins and other manufacturers' generators.
  • Install and commission new gensets/systems, transfer switches, and Digital Master Controllers (DMCs).
  • Maintain and repair switchgear and battery systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant and current VIC electrical trade qualification.
  • Full unrestricted A Grade Electrical licence in VIC.
  • Experience in a Field Service Role or similar is desirable.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving, and a high level of accuracy.
