Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Wodonga, VIC. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and diagnostics on Cummins and other manufacturers generators, and installing and commissioning new gensets/systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics on Cummins and other manufacturers generators.
  • Install and commission new gensets/systems, transfer switches & Digital Master Controllers (DMC).
  • Maintaining and repairing switch gear & battery systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant and current VIC electrical trade qualification.
  • Full unrestricted A Grade Electrical licence in VIC.
  • Experience in a Field Service Role or similar is desirable.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving and a high level of accuracy.
