Our team is seeking a skilled Women's Health Care Specialist to provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be committed to delivering woman-centred care in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. This includes providing care on the antenatal ward, Maternity Assessment unit, Birthing Suites, Postnatal ward, Cesarean lists, and/or in the Special Care Nursery.
Qualifications- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife;
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience working as a Registered Midwife in similar roles;
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised woman-centred care;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated professional manner when working with complex situations;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Flexibility to work a seven-day roster including night duty;
- Basic computer skills;
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
