
Care and Support Specialist

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based behavioural assessment and intervention services to individuals across the lifespan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing positive behaviour support principles and processes related to trauma-informed care and person-centred support;
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality care outcomes;
- Developing and implementing individualised behaviour support plans that promote inclusion and quality of life;
- Providing ongoing support and coaching to individuals, families, and support networks to build skills and capacity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, or Behavioural Science;
- Minimum 2 years experience working within the NDIS sector, with current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient) under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage complex client needs;
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced-Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes.
