About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations Coordinator - Logistics and Supply Chain. In this role, you will provide administration and communication support to the Operations Department to ensure its smooth and efficient operation.

  • Coordinate Import and Export Shipments, including Warehouse arrivals, Unloads, Groupage departures, LCL Collections and Delivery Airfreight Collections and Delivery, as well as completing WA quarantine forms
  • Schedule the daily movements of wharf and rail contractors
  • Attend to operational enquiries over the phone
  • Logistics and cost management of Domestic and International containers
  • Manage container movements into and out of the branch
  • Complete container audits to ensure compliance
  • Provide administrative, operational and general assistance to the Operations Team where and when required
  • Perform licence and vehicle compliance checks
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with people at all levels of the business, including sales, administration and operational teams (both internal and external)
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Outstanding customer service focus
  • A background in freight, rail and wharf is preferable but not essential
