Transport Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to supervise day-to-day operations in Sydney, AU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the transport network
  • Oversee LCL & FCL deliveries
  • Monitor carrier performance and meet customer delivery expectations
  • Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipment progress and delivery commitments
  • Ensure entry of delivery and POD data into operational systems
  • Process shipments efficiently according to customer requirements and KPI timeframes
  • Drive team performance improvement using LEAN tools and best practices
  • Coordinate customs entries and liaise with regulatory authorities

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in supervising/managing freight transport teams
  • Experience in ground transport operations is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of AU Customs and regulatory procedures
  • FCL & LCL experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
