Senior Animation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced animator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high-quality animation, with a strong understanding of the principles of animation and excellent problem-solving skills.
You will be responsible for working closely with our animation team to create believable animation with convincing performances and motion. This will include digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation.
- Create high-quality animation that meets project requirements
- Work collaboratively with animators and supervisors to achieve project goals
- Deliver work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
This role is ideal for an individual who is well-versed in the principles of animation and has experience working in a team environment.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in CG animation within high-end live action VFX feature films
- Thorough knowledge of Maya and strong problem-solving skills
- Proven experience troubleshooting and predicting potential problems with assigned tasks and issues from other departments
- Ability to support leads and supervisors and contribute to team improvements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer-generated imagery (CGI), visual effects (VFX) or animation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with realistic and stylised facial animation
- Tool development using Python or MEL
