About Our Allied Health Assistant Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare sector? We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Griffith Ambulatory Rehabilitation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in health, working collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals while providing clinical and administrative support services. You will work closely with a wide range of Health Professionals and be supported by our experienced Allied Health team.

We are looking for an individual who can assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals, complete clinical and administrative support tasks, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals
  • Complete clinical and administrative support activities to promote the effective and efficient provision of Allied Health services
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or relevant qualification and willingness to complete required skill sets
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Has demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively and effectively
