About the Project

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support our Head of Learning and Development by managing and delivering key project activities across all phases of the project lifecycle.">
  • The successful candidate will assist in developing project plans that align with goals for safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.">
  • Liaise daily with stakeholders including learning and development managers, specialists, SMEs, and senior leadership.">
  • Support the creation and delivery of scopes of work and project packages within agreed timelines.">
  • Contribute to risk identification and management throughout the project lifecycle.">
  • Prepare reports, coordinate project reviews, and maintain project performance metrics.">
  • Monitor project progress, analyse variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.">
  • Maintain project management systems to ensure governance, compliance, and reporting accuracy.">
  • Promote a strong culture and support best practices in project management across teams.">

About You

">
  • ">
  • Tertiary or vocational qualifications in a technical or project management discipline or equivalent experience in a professional environment.">
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar project environment. Preferably in the Defence industry or similar.">
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of scheduling, project management methodologies, financial management, stakeholder management, contractor/consultant management, and personnel management as applicable to a complex project environment.">
  • Experience and proficiency in relevant project management applications, such as MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, MS Excel.">
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Demonstrated strong planning, organisation, and multitasking skills with resilience, sound judgment, and a proactive, goal-driven mindset.">
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships, work collaboratively in teams, and deliver customer-focused outcomes.">
  • Desirable: Diploma or higher qualifications in Project Management, membership of a recognised project management association.">

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
