Role Summary

As a technical expert in asset management, this role is ideal for those passionate about driving continuous improvement and ensuring optimal system performance.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining assets in an Automated Case Picking facility, with opportunities to develop new methods and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and develop new initiatives to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and optimise resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement processes.
  • Support emergency escalations and ensure compliance with CMMS reporting standards.
  • Use data analysis methods to determine maintenance demands and recommend critical spares holdings.
Requirements:
  • Preferred: Degree, diploma or certificate in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in CMMS/WMS/WCS and industry-related software.
  • Experience with automated systems and strong electro-mechanical skills.
  • Skilled in mechanical/electrical fault-finding and rectification, including field devices and mechanical components.
  • Customer-oriented to deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and diagnostics.
  • Proven leadership skills for supervising service teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide service team members.
