We are seeking a skilled Technical Asset Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

Job Requirements
  • Specialise in technical assets and support activities within an automated warehouse environment.
  • Ensure the optimal performance of assets, covering electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.

Main responsibilities include organising modifications, corrective maintenance, and performance improvements of equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll provide expert advice on system performance and promote continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
  3. Stay updated with the latest technologies and develop new methods to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  4. Contribute to strategic plans to enhance service delivery and support business goals.

You will lead training sessions to improve the technical skills of the service team. Promote a collaborative work environment and encourage open communication and teamwork. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency. Mentor junior technicians and support their professional growth.

Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OH&S procedures. Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement system housekeeping. Support maintenance planning and analyse parts usage and asset performance. Facilitate effective relationships with all departments, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and drive performance improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information clearly.
