Job Title: Support Specialist

">About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery, you will work directly with clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries, providing daily support and assistance in their homes.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with transfers, using hoists when required.
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
  • Basic wound care and self-medication.
  • Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
  • Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.
">Requirements:
  • Experience in disability or aged care is not necessary; full training provided.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle required.
  • A smartphone device.
  • Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card.
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
