Educational Leader in English Language Arts

The Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is seeking an English teacher to join our school community and enrich the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Stage 6 English courses and a strong knowledge base of English content and best practice pedagogy.
This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 3 ASAP. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning and teaching for the community they serve, embedded in the Catholic worldview.
Key Focus Areas:
- Experience teaching Stage 6 English courses
- Ability to teach Stage 6 Extension subjects is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of implementing the new NSW Syllabuses
- Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach
- Capacity to share a vision for contemporary learning in an all-girls setting
- Modeling impactful pedagogy that enables students with diverse needs to reach their full potential
- Commitment to continual improvement of teaching practices through reflective evaluation
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience demonstrating pedagogical content knowledge that promotes student learning growth in various educational contexts
- Willingness to engage in professional learning and whole-school activities for learning improvement
- Ability to analyze learning data and plan appropriate teaching strategies for diverse learners
