About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to design, develop and implement radio frequency communication systems for unmanned aircraft systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers to support projects related to wireless communication technologies, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design RF communication system components including radios, antennas and cable assemblies.
  2. Develop link analysis/link budgets for digital datalinks.
  3. Conduct RF testing and measurements to validate system performance against specifications.
  4. Troubleshoot RF systems to identify and resolve issues.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in RF engineering, preferably in communications systems.
  • Experience with RF simulation and design tools.
  • Solid understanding of RF principles, modulation techniques and wireless communication.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
