Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our care team in Rockhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of elderly clients by providing exceptional in-home care services.

About the Role
  • Assist clients with essential personal hygiene activities, such as bathing, showering, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity are upheld.
  • Deliver customized, person-centered care that reflects each client's individual needs, preferences, and routines.
  • Assisting with daily activities, in home and community.
  • This role encompasses everyday tasks and assistance within the home, from basic household duties and cleaning assistance, meal preparation, personal care i.e.; showers, grooming, social outings and transports to medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities such as toileting, transferring, and mobility support.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them maintain a sense of independence and dignity.
  • Care Planning: Work with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Home Safety: Assess and address any potential hazards in the client's home, ensuring a safe living environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Care Worker.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification).
  • Driver's licence and vehicle
  • Current Car Insurance & Car Registration
  • National police check
  • First aid & CPR
  • Blue Card
