As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive quality care and support. You'll assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share meaningful moments with residents in a caring environment.
ResponsibilitiesEvery day will be different and work is varied and rewarding. As a Bank Care Assistant, you could be supporting residents with food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring that each resident has one-to-one time. This role offers an opportunity to put your skills to meaningful use and develop your career.

Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that's as varied as it is rewarding. You could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time.
About youTo join us as a Bank Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. Person SpecificationQualifications- To join us as a Bank Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
