Current Opportunity

This role is an exciting chance to join our team of experts in IFRS Advisory, providing technical, financial, and corporate reporting advice to clients. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers innovative solutions and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyse, and process data to support our lease management service offering.
  • Work with senior team members to develop technical accounting solutions that support client delivery and risk management teams.
  • Assist the growth of the IFRS Advisory team, particularly in relation to provision of BDO Lead-related products and services and finance function advisory services.
  • Support the CFO Advisory team with finance function advisory services and transformation projects.
  • Prepare and/or develop financial, management, and project reporting, including general purpose financial statements and mandatory sustainability reports.
  • Establish new entity finance and corporate functions.
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards, including IFRS 16.
  • Experience in analysing accounting issues and developing commercial solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role or consulting and/ or financial operations role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • A strong willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Relevant degree, preferably in accounting.
  • CA qualification in progress (or completed).

Remuneration

The remuneration package for this role starts at $90,000 per annum.
