About the Role:
As the Culinary Manager at Streaky Bay Hotel, you will oversee the hotel's food operations, driving profitability and success through effective management. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality meals to all dining areas, ensuring exceptional standards of presentation and taste.
• Craft, prepare, and present dishes that exceed guest expectations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal levels.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Monitor staff performance, reporting incidents and performance issues to management.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures, reporting breaches to management as needed.
• Ensure the kitchen is well-maintained, reporting repairs and suggested changes to management.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required by management.
About You:
• Relevant hospitality qualifications or experience in commercial cookery.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a kitchen environment.
• Strong team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with diverse colleagues.
• Dedication to delivering exceptional service, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Remuneration:
• Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year plus super.
• Job Type: Full-time.
