Civil Engineer Role Overview

This role has been created to support our business expansion, requiring a skilled Civil Engineer to lead a project delivery team and ensure client commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception through to completion, coordinating designs and contract administration.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure approvals, applications, and contractual agreements, ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Foster relationships with clients and other stakeholders to improve/maintain existing partnerships.
  • Assist senior engineers with workload planning to meet project deadlines.
  • Contribute to sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks, exercising responsible judgment.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to enhance team capabilities.
  • Oversee financial targets, including budgets and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects throughout all stages of delivery, demonstrated leadership and project management skills, ability to budget, commercial acumen, risk management, industry awareness, relevant qualifications, and REPQ certification desirable.
