Job Title

A leading logistics expert is sought to oversee the inventory and supply chain operations for our organisation. This role involves managing a dedicated team of inventory and supply officers, providing day-to-day direction and coordinating warehouse activities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the inventory and warehouse team
  • Serve as the key point of contact for internal forums and customer meetings related to warehousing and logistics matters
  • Provide reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, develop, implement and enhance tools, systems, procedures, work instructions, and templates
  • Coordinate and delegate tasking related to inventory control, shipment of materials, and provide guidance on delivery problem resolution
  • Monitor customer allocation and delivery timeframes
  • Define performance metric requirements, perform trend analysis, and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in a warehouse and inventory management role, along with appropriate qualifications or certifications in an inventory or logistics discipline. They must have proven experience in managing individuals, including task delegation and performance management, and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
