About the Role
  • We seek a junior associate to research and identify potential acquisition opportunities aligned with our investment strategy.
  • The candidate will maintain a structured database/CRM of targets, tracking all outreach activities and relationship history.
  • They must prepare market scans and industry mapping reports to identify consolidation opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct direct outreach to vendors, owners, and advisors of target businesses.
  • Maintain regular contact with intermediaries, brokers, and industry networks.
  • Facilitate and coordinate initial meetings between leadership and target businesses.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze financial reports and operating data to support initial evaluations of targets.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, and transaction documents.
  • Support the management of external advisors (legal, tax, accounting, and due diligence providers).
  • Participate in the due diligence process, assisting with the collection, review, and synthesis of information across commercial, financial, operational, and legal streams.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of post-merger integration activities.
