Senior Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Carrington West in Cardiff. As a key member of our Civils team, you will be responsible for delivering infrastructure design projects across various sectors, including housing, commercial, educational, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in delivering infrastructure design projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and timely project delivery.
  • Organize and manage projects independently, reporting to Technical Leads and contributing to the growth and development of the Civils team.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using the latest design software and identify opportunities for learning and development.
  • Support junior staff in their development and contribute to improving workflow efficiencies within the Civils team.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and maintain a strong working knowledge of technical and legal requirements for approval and adoption.
  • Collaborate with the Civils team to enhance its reputation within the Welsh marketplace.
