We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (3 full working days per week). This role is based on site and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to property operations and community land management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage lease agreements, licenses, and tenancy contracts for Council properties and land
  • Coordinate maintenance contracts for Council buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and legislative requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date records of leases and support strategic property decisions, including acquisitions and disposals
  • Assist with road closures, encroachments, and community/commercial leases and licenses
  • Contribute to asset management planning and capital works programs, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in property operations
About You:
  • A background in local government or public administration would be beneficial
  • You possess strong knowledge of property legislation and asset management principles
  • Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate property databases and documentation systems
  • A motivated, organized individual who can work independently within a collaborative team environment
