The Collingwood Football Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Partnerships Lead to join our Partnerships team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the account management and service of allocated commercial partners, driving revenue growth through new partnership opportunities, and maximizing business opportunities for the club.
Key Responsibilities- Account management of selected Premier Partners, Platinum Partnerships, and Major Partnerships, including day-to-day contact and management of allocated partners, ensuring objectives and goals are met.
- Activation and fulfillment of promotions, programs, and contract obligations for all allocated commercial partners, including match days.
- Preparation of mid-season and end-of-season reports, proposals, and evaluations.
- Management and tracking of allocated commercial partners' budgets.
- Aligning allocated partners' objectives with the objectives of the Collingwood Football Club.
- Creating and identifying new business and value-add opportunities for current and potential commercial partners.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Solid commercial acumen and proven workplace performance.
- Strong administration skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with the contractual aspects of commercial partnership agreements.
- Ability to project manage specific marketing and commercial programs.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and within strict budgets.
- Interest in sports and the sporting environment.
- Formal qualifications in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum 5 years' experience in a related sponsorship/account management role with a proven track record in account management and relationship building.
