  • Support to Chair and Members: Assist the Chair and members by clarifying past and present decisions, retrieving relevant documents, and confirming policy and legal requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Adopt a continual improvement approach by implementing changes based on feedback to maintain or enhance the section's service offerings.
  • Program and Policy Interpretation: Provide quality program, service, or policy interpretation to internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, such as Secretariat Handbooks.

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a Secretariat is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to succinctly articulate information.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders in a sensitive and confidential manner, including senior leadership and external counterparts.
  • Documentation Skills: Proven ability to independently draft high-quality correspondence and meeting documentation.
  • Administration Management: Proven ability to manage complex administration processes and deliver results according to deadlines.
  • Team Management: Proven team management skills, including providing operational direction and applying a commonsense approach to resolving issues.
  • Flexibility and Collaboration: Proven ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a busy team, often under pressure.
