Job Description

As a Clinical Midwifery Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Office of the Chief Midwife Officer's Midwifery Team. Specifically, you will assist the statewide clinical lead in reviewing, embedding, and sustaining preventive health care at the local level.

You will help develop and implement a self-referral pathway for pregnancy care, including triage and referral to specific models of care. Your expertise will be crucial in building capacity and systems for vulnerable women, chronic disease management, and future health risk screening of pregnant women in public antenatal care services across the state.

You will also support and enhance intensive smoking/vaping cessation programs for pregnant women and their partners across the state.
