Job Title: Senior Palliative Care Manager
About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across all palliative care services.
This includes direct operational oversight of service provision at Caritas Christi, the Palliative Care Consultation Service (PCCS), and academic programs.
The role collaborates closely with Directors to foster development and growth services, driving clinical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Management of the operational, financial, administrative and workforce components of palliative care services
- Contribute to the palliative care services strategic plan and oversee the development and implementation of associated action plans
- Ensure delivery of high-quality evidence-based care, flexible and responsive to patient needs, in accordance with program guidelines and best practice principles
- Provide leadership and management support to direct reports within portfolio
- Lead ongoing evaluation of services to demonstrate client outcomes and effectiveness
- Tertiary level healthcare qualification
- Extensive experience in palliative care service provision
- Highly developed leadership and organisational skills, including demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary staff and functions
- Ability to engage people with a clear vision and outstanding communications skills
