This is a fantastic opportunity to become a trusted advisor across the business, supporting key functions including commercial, finance, projects, operations, exploration, native title, human resources and company secretarial.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert advice across a wide range of commercial, corporate, contractual and regulatory matters.
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts including procurement, banking, and confidentiality agreements.
- Managing disputes and claims efficiently, including oversight of external legal counsel.
- Contribute to corporate governance, risk and support major operational and strategic initiatives.
This position would suit a lawyer with 5-12 years PAE, ideally gained across both private practice and in-house with a background in either the mining, resources, construction or engineering sectors.
