Dive into a leadership role as a Diving Head Coach with our esteemed organisation.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Year 7-12 Girls' Sport Victoria (GSV) Diving Program during Term 1.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide young athletes in a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive sporting community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage diving team training sessions.
    • Design and deliver training programs and implement a fair selection process for team composition.
    • Mentor and support casual diving coaches, contributing to their professional growth.
    • Coordinate dive selection and prepare the team for GSV competitions.
    • Attend and assist the team during all competitions, ensuring a positive and high-performing environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a diving coach or athlete.
  • Strong leadership and motivational capabilities with diverse teams.
  • A passion for sport, healthy lifestyles, and the development of youth athletes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
