Transport Operations Coordinator

About Us

We are a logistics company that provides transportation solutions for businesses around the world.

The Role

This is a key liaison role ensuring timely, safe and cost-effective product dispatch. The Transport Operations Coordinator will manage and organise the transport of customer products to depots, terminals and retail outlets.

  • Plan and coordinate daily activities to achieve results and targets
  • Compile loads to ensure efficient use of drivers and equipment
  • Ensure all Drivers comply with driving hour regulations and rest breaks at all times
  • Participate in operational meetings and health and safety discussions
  • Liaise with Managers and customers regarding problems or changes to schedules
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating daily activities, compiling loads for efficient driver usage, ensuring compliance with driving hour regulations, participating in operational meetings, and liaising with managers and customers.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Experience in the Fuels industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of transport operations, including dangerous goods knowledge, is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for successful stakeholder engagement.
