Job Title: Manufacturing Packer

  • Pack finished products into designated containers or packaging according to standard procedures and specifications.
  • Inspect products for quality assurance prior to packaging.
  • Label packaged goods accurately with product codes, lot numbers, and relevant information.
  • Use QR code scanning and data entry into systems; request manuals from the drafting department.
  • Operate packaging machinery (e.g. label applicators) safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory of packaging materials and report low stock levels to avoid production delays.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, especially around packaging areas.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other packaging and production-related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is desirable but not required.
  • Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and recording quantities.
  • The ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items repeatedly.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
