The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working in a similar environment.
This is a hands-on role that involves troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance, and operating specialist machinery. The successful candidate will use their technical expertise and problem-solving skills every day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery
- Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system
- Faulting finding and repairs
- Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults
- Promote Lean thinking
- Attend breakdowns
- Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation
- Adhere to industry standards and best practices for quality and safety
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with our company, you will receive full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure you can work safely and effectively.
The successful candidate will have a minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline and strong experience of health and safety best practice.
