About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take your nursing skills to the next level in our Medical Oncology/Haematology Day unit in Sydney. As part of a close-knit team, you will provide high-quality services in medical oncology and haematology nursing, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to give patients a superior treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapies, and blood transfusions effectively.
  • Create a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, family, and friends.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient education and work closely with Oncologists/Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain professional development and adhere to policy and procedure to ensure patient and organisational confidence.
  • Contribute to team goals and bring a positive attitude to work.
