**Job Title:** Chief Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly Management Accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payroll and STP reporting in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee bonuses and reimbursements, maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the process.
  • Oversee the preparation of workers compensation insurance and superannuation returns, guaranteeing compliance with relevant laws.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset registers, ensuring up-to-date records at all times.
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Review and prepare accounts payable, receivables, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring seamless financial operations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with expertise in various functions and software systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, Xero, Excel, and Shopify/Stripe/PayPal transactions is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills are crucial for success in this role.
